Thanks to all of you who left warm and supportive comments on my recent posts. I want to let you know that the fact you took the trouble and time to leave me such kind words is very much appreciated. I have some wonderful plans in the making and am looking forward in sharing them with all of you. You make me feel wildly optimistic about my horizons!
Wild & Wonderful: I did a post on the special screening of the documentary The Wild & Wonderful Whites of West Virginia, over at Midtown Monthly.
You can read it here.
You can read it here.
In case you didn't have a chance to enjoy this witty and entertaining movie on the big screen, you can still see it on the little one. The film is out on DVD, and it's available via Netflix, your choice: DVD or live-streaming.
And speaking of live-streaming, I put my Etsy on vacation mode while I gear up the listings. Plan on a big "grand opening" slated for Nov. 15th. Remember to convo me and request a 15% discount if you subscribe to this blog. And a shout-out to Nora of Transient Treasures, and Time and Again Fashions for showing her support and shopping my Etsy shop. Girl, you are so rad, on so many levels: thank-you!
So out of the blue, my Google followers now number over 173. Blink of an eye, because last I check it was 150, 160, maybe? So THANK YOU new followers, and my sweet and faithfuls. I am giddy that more than a handful even bother to check in on me, and there are many of you that I now consider friends.
I'm gonna do a give-away! I had planned to do one when I reached 150 followers, but sheesh, that number was so last month. I'm going to share a swag bag, like the one I gave to the Sacramento fashion bloggers, with a $20 dollar "Citizen Rosebuck" thrown in for good measure. The Citizen Rosebuck will be good for anything in my Etsy shop (shipping not included), and/or good for a Citizens of Rosebud local trunk show. More details to follow....
Now Wearing:
- Thrifted, Eddie Baur cable-knit cardigan w/toggles
- Thrifted, vintage scarf
- Citizen Rosebud, Altered striped shirt w/ floral border
- Shortened jean skirt
- D.I.Y. shredded black tights
- Camper boots

I have a hat very similar to that! The colour is so vibrant..
Thank you for your sweet mention of me in your sidebar. I am now once again on the road to recovery, after a pretty nasty setback that I'll talk about in my next post.

The grand opening sounds exciting!
Looking forward in sharing my vintage treasures with you, Pearl!
Oh, I can't watch It's a Wonderful Live. My father, who made his living as an accountant, always wanted to play jazz trumpet. He would toot along to Louis Armstrong...and it makes me cry to hear the tune.
I'm looking forward to your giveaway and the reopening of your shop! I covet the hats.
you've got big things on the horizon, I just know it.
lOVING THIS HAT !!!!!!!!
WELL ACTUALLY THE ENTIRE OUTFIT :)
AND YEP, ENTIRELY OUT OF PLASTIC BAGS, DOWN TO THE MUCH-NEEDED SLIP!
THE EXCEPTIONS WERE: STAPLES(I HAD TO STAPLE IT ON TO MAKE IT MORE 'FITTED' AND RE-CYCLED RIBBON FROM MY OLD CRAFT BAG, TO CINCH THE WAIST A BIT MORE ;)
THE LEGGINGS: 3 BUCKS AT SEARS(STILL THRIFTY, BUT NOT 'GREEN' AND THE PUMPS ( I COULDN'T FIND MY THRIFTED ONES, BUT THESE WERE A GIFT FROM MY MOM, O DOLLARS ) WIG: LEFT OVERS FROM 75% OFF COSTUMES (ABOUT 3 BUCKS) AND THE THRIFTED PURSE I COVERED WITH THE F21 BAG AS MY DESIGNER BAG. THE MAKE-UP WAS FROM ACTULA MAKE-UP, NOT HALLOWEEN STUFF. THE TATS: SHARPIE (PERMANENT, OOPS)
THAT'S IT.........
THANKS

wonderful look, so glad to have found your blog!! in this post especially you really look like one of the co-owners of Tail of the Yak, one of the wildest little boutiques ever (antique jewelry to drool over...sadly no great deals, money-wise) it's in Berkeley, CA. they do have a nice ribbon selection, at reasonable to pretty good prices, though.
hang in there and take care! NOCAL girls rool!! steph
Bella, sweetheart, you are stunning and I <3 you! Follow your heart, and the rest will follow. Sorry for being a stranger lately, I have been sending you warm thoughts all the way from Oslo though. Big kisses!
