Crash Landing (A Comedy in 15 seconds)

The Rosebud, posting in front of a '60's gem, The Aviator's Restaurant at the Executive Airport
Grey days here in Sactown, folks. STORMY. So I've taken to wearing lots of grey, you know the axiom- if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. The good news is: I've heard that there's going to be a break this week in the bad weather and the prediction is 75 degrees by Wednesday. I won't hold my breath, but let's just say, I'm unpacking my summer dresses.

Meanwhile, I've been sprucing up the Citizens of Rosebud "underground boutique" over at the studio, getting ready for my trunk show, featuring my finely curated vintage collection. It's to be hosted by the lovely Lindsay for the whole month of April. We'll be open Friday and Saturday from noon-6 pm, and also by appointment. So it you're going to be in Sacramento anytime in April, let me know, as I've love to share my vintage with you!

Next up: I'm sharing with you some more of my iPhone comedy, starring yours truly. Just when I think I'm taking a picture, the phone will be in film mode, so there's lots of odd gems like the one you'll see below, of me having NO idea that I'm filming.  I wanted a nice outfit post- one of me posing in front of this classic 1960's building, of which my gentleman friend, D was obliged to take, only well, let's just say, we won't be getting any Oscar noms for our film-making capabilities. But I do think I'm a natural screwball, and can't help but show my goofiness with you all.

Wishing you a wonderful Sunday!

Hahahaha! Classic. There should be a whole blog dedicated to moments when people are waiting to have their photo taken and don't realize they're being video'd. We have one of the 3 of us at Mycie's 1st bday party, Graham and I sitting next to her high chair there as our smiles turn more and more awkward...
Okay, this outfit is TO DIE. So, so cute. Even more classic than the video.
I'm gonna have to come see you in April. Get back to me about the text thing (make sure I have your right number).

I love that you posted this. I needed a laugh! "Should we have a picture of the building? So they can see I'm at the airport?" Too cute.
