PINK SPARKLE KRAZY- Uptown Fashion Night

According to Sacramento's Indie fashion's "godmother," Mary Kawano, a neighborhood that is often overlooked for its fashion sense is Uptown. Well, Kawano, aka Krazy Mary, is about to change all that.

All About Mary: Mary Kawano and friends are about to take fashion UPTOWN.

She's teamed up with Sparkle Bridal Couture and The Pink House Shoe Boutique to produce a "Uptown Fashion Night," and fashion showcase set for November 3rd. Together, they hope to highlight the fresh fashion sense that Uptown has to offer. “Style and personality definitely stretch beyond Downtown and Midtown and into “Uptown”- what we consider the vicinity immediately east of Alhambra Blvd. in East Sacramento. We see lots of potential for Uptown to continue progressing and complementing our customers’ tastes and the gorgeous homes nearby with a fun, modern, and upscale vibe,” states Kawano.

“We’re encouraging the community to shop local and support the businesses which help make Uptown so unique. It’ll be an exciting night for us to show Sacramento what Uptown is evolving into and we want this event to be an exciting kick-start by celebrating what we do best: fashion and style,” said Orr. 

The “Uptown Fashion Night” will have scheduled fashion shows, winter collection previews, complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres, door prizes and more.
