outfit post: not waving but drowning

I have seen the mermaids singing each to each
I have seen them riding seaward on the waves
combing the white hair of waves blown back
when the waves blows the water white and black.

We have lingered in the chambers of the sea
By seagirls wreathed with seaweed red & brown
Til human voices wake us and we drown.

-The Lovesong of J. Alfred Prufrock

It's not that I haven't anything to say, it's just I've already said too much.

Now Wearing:
  • Mui-Mui Sunglasses
  • thrifted vintage cotton blouse, Goodwill
  • vintage faux pearl broach
  • polished stone bracelet, Anika Burke
  • cut-off shorts
  • Dolce Vita gold wedges for Target
