Outfit Post: Lovely Rita LBD

Traffic Stop: The Rita by Karina Dresses

Lovely Rita. How chic is the cut-to-the-chase elegance of a simple Little Black Dress? This LBD is a short-sleeve Rita, made in the USA, by Karina Dresses. That means it's wrinkle free, made from an easy wear, easy care breathable microfiber fabric.

Keep It Simple Sweetheart: The Streamlined Simplicity of a LBD

I've kept the whole look streamlined: a knit cap for warmth, the Rita LBD, some chunky bracelets and my new-to-me booties.  I found them for $25 bucks at Value Village. Originally slotted for re-sell, these boots were headed to eBay, until I tried them on! They fit remarkably well, and were instantly comfortable. I'm a big fan of the Söfft brand, as they design for ease, comfort, and affordability, as well as smart looks. Kind of like this Karina Dress, now that I think about it.

While I'm on the subject of Karina Dresses- here's the link to sign up for their newsletter, the Karina Nation, launched just this month! I dressed up as the newsletter editor, and the Rita was the featured dress for the month of February. If you want great "behind the seams" scenes, sneak previews and exclusive access to sales events, be sure to sign up now, so you don't miss next month's feature. Sign up for the Karina Nation HERE.

Now Wearing:
  • Knitted Tam c/o JACOB
  • arm candy, various sources
  • The Rita c/o Karina Dresses
  • Söfft  Booties, similar HERE

Disclosure: Karina Dresses is a sponsor of the Citizen Rosebud, and I received this dress for the purpose of this post.

Every woman should own a LBD and this one is stunning on you. So many ways that you could wear it. And those booties were a great find. Glad you kept them!

I'm jealous that you and Joni got to get together. Would have loved to have been a fly on the wall!

I love the shape and discrete shine in this dress, and it looks fantastic on you! The booties are great, looking very expensive and perfect with the dress. Fantastic that you don't need to wear tights, and everything is green outside!

The Beatles should be proud and Rita was also Bob Marley's wife name.
Two reasons to like this song.
You have great legs: must shown them often!!!!!!

Who doesn't love a wrap dress - and an LBD to boot? The look is very retro pinup girl. If it had longer sleeves and petite proportions I'd snatch it up in a heartbeat!

Wow! You know I love this. :)
I know you're accustomed to wearing beautiful color and prints but this is simply stunning. There is something quite French about it as well.
Pink lips here are oh so pretty, too.

That really is THE perfect little black dress - figure flattering, you can dress it up or down, and wrinkle resistant! How are you not freezing?

I would have kept those booties too.
