Boyfriend Sweater, Joan Jett Tee + Me

This photo is soooo NOT about fashion, is it? Above you see the outfit I pretty much wore everyday this month. The sweater, I wrote about HERE. The shirt was a companion gift from the boyfriend, a perfectly worn-in super soft 1970's vintage Joan Jett concert T-shirt. It's pretty fucking cool. I HEART my boyfriend sweater and concert tee; not in a stylish sort of way, but in a sentimental sort of way. Which is one of the greatest things about vintage + favorite garments, they comes with memories but leave  room for you to make some more.

Speaking of room, I'll be taking some time off the blog for a bit. I'll been busy moving into my new home. Yeah! I got a great new job, and now a fantastic new set of digs! This weekend all my things were trucked down from California- thanks Mom!) and now I need to unpack and set up the casa. So no bloggy for bit, but I'll be back, and I can't wait to show you my new place!

See you on the first, friends.       -Bella Q

I love sentimental clothes I swear Vix has loads of them, funny enough stuff I have received from fellow bloggers is fast becoming some of my favorite things to wear. You look cozy and much loved! I dig your fiery hair Bella just as much as I love Joan Jett. She is a sexy ass tough talented woman, I wanted to be her in high school :) Congrats on the new job you love and the apartment. I bet you are happy to unpack your stuff and get settled. I thought of you this weekend as I roamed Seattle, such a cool city. I can't wait to go back and meet up with you for some shopping and whatever else we find ourselves doing.
Take care sweets~

Good luck on your move in. Sounds like all the pieces are falling together for you. That's fantastic.

Love your t-shirt and your sentimental clothes. I have random things in my closet too that instantly bring back happy memories. Oh, and a lucky shirt. Never giving that away.

Sorry. You say this is not fashion? I think it's the heart and soul of fashion. Okay, maybe the word is style. I think it's the shoes that tell me that the rest is meaningful and deeply intentional, a reflection and statement.

Looking forward to seeing your new spot.

Love, Jean

Exciting times Bella, good luck with the move! I like what you say about clothes which come with memories but have room to make more - that's comforting somehow. Looking forward to seeing you back when you're all settled in.

Love the idea of vintage clothes coming with memories, but leaving room to make more. All your transitions sound so exciting and full of life and energy.
By the way, can't remember if I've said how much I like your hair red. It has struck me particularly today as I've just posted images of my vibrantly red-headed mum.

1) I have very similar leopard print flats. 2)Jeans and a tee is what I've had to force myself to not wear and experiment with fashion. 3)It is refreshing to see 40 year old woman still doing fashion blogs as I am slowly but surely reaching that age!-Jessica
