Trending: Floral Headbands

Blossom and BLOOM.

As my Instagram feed attests, I am really smitten with flowers. And florals. And ladies who love florals. Here you see a "trend" of sorts, one that I want a ride on the bandwagon. That would be floral headbands/hairpieces. Do you wear them?

What a great group of pictures! My hair is so curly, that they just get all tangled. So I just use the smooth headbands. But those flowers look terrific on you!

What a gorgeous round up of beauties! Krista rocked the Lake District in hers.
Yes, I do! The first time I blogged about wearing one was in June 2010, I wore it for the Glastonbury Festival: http://vintagevixon.blogspot.co.uk/2010/06/worthy-farm-here-i-come.html

I adore flowers and floral headbands too!! Thank you for including me in your beautiful garden! My favorite one is the headpiece I'm wearing above, it's a stunning handmade work by Krista (from Peetee's place) and the amazing thing is that is a double headband, with orange flowers and little liliac pon pons on a side and purple daisies and butterflies on the other! When I'm sad I wear it and everything goes better!

I love floral hairbands but I'm not brave enough to wear them, my daughter has a few and I have sat in her room trying them on. I'm never in a situation that seems right for me to wear one either. All the ladies I see here on Blogger look so beautiful in theirs I wish I could be bolder and just go for it. Maybe I should do a blog with me wearing them, just for the fun of it. xx

I'm happy to be in your garden too, thank you Bella! Rarely does a day go by without a floral headband upon my noggin. Great for bad hair days and perfect for summer:)). The red roses look so gorgeous on you:)). xoxoxo

I wear just a sprig. I wish I could go full-on headpiece but I feel like my hair is a little mom-ish right now. Come on hair, grow! :)

I need to make myself an outrageous floral headband and wear it to work to watch the heads explode!!!

I have a couple of hairbands with some blooms attached that I wore in the summer, and some clip-on flowers I would attach to head scarves. I don't know that I can carry off a full floral headpiece like Desiree can! I did notice that people love seeing other people wear flowers in their hair-I received lots of compliments.

I'm with you Forest City! I felt very self conscious in my headband yet got a lot of positive comments- and I of course loooove to see flowers in peoples hair!

I think they are so beautiful, and love seeing the ones Desiree creates and wears on her blog. But I've never looked good in any kind of headband, even when I was a kid. Now barrettes are another story :)

I prolly should wear them. I love florals too. In fact, maybe I will make one tonight. I mostly wear very small paper flowers, or one single flower, either on a bobby pin or attached to a ribbon that I tie around my head if my hair is up. But a real live, honest to goodness, great big flowers headband... I think I better try it out.

Flower headbands are a huge trend! Not for me, but I do appreciate them on other women.

I have one myself, but it's understated compared to the one you posted. HOWEVER, I also use huge ones, but only on photoshoots and not on me, but on models. Ha!
