Ugly Holiday Sweater + Dominon Boots

Deck the Halls: Ugly Holiday Sweater Season has arrived!
'Tis the Season: Ugly Holiday Sweater season is here. And I, dear ducklings, am one to honor time-tested traditions. Behold, my latest and greatest to my Ugly Sweater collection. 'Tis 1960s vintage, 'tis wool and knitted, and 'tis very very ugly. And awesome. And wonderful. I feel like a happy little elf, all toasty and warm and getting geared up for the Holidays.

I'm enjoying my ugly holiday sweater and holiday wear. I've been sorting all sorts of brights, velvets, plaids and holiday sparkle to sell online. You can see some of my select Christmas vintage over at the shop blog, check out the latest post featuring the Etsy goodies. Check out the sparkly new shop blog header too, while you're at it, I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.  Use coupon code WONDERFUL for 10% off in the Etsy shop, too, if you're feeling the fa-la-la-la.

Speaking of wonderful, some nice folks at the New Zealand based company, Dominion, sent me a pair of all-weather boots to try, and look at them- lovely things consisting of classic equestrian style featuring top quality New Zealand sheepskin. You can check out more of their sheepskin chic over at their website or get social with them on Facebook or Twitter

NOTE: Use coupon code CITIZENROSEBUD for 10% off purchase in their shop. Click HERE to shop Dominion boots.

You are so adorable. I love that outfit.

One of these days I'm going to need an ugly holiday sweater. It looks like a fun thing to own.

Those boots are great! And the sweater's not ugly - more Betty White than Lana Turner, but not ugly. We had ugly sweater day at work, but my only Christmas sweater isn't very ugly either, just garish. I'll post it on Visible Monday soon.

Those boots are great! That sweater looks like it was worn to the Seattle World's Fair in the 60's. Maybe it's decorated with little Christmas Sputniks? Pretty cute for an item of clothing that is older than you are!

What a gorgeous festive outfit, Bella, I'm loving red at this time of year and those tights are very festive, and they really set off the chestnut in those gorgeous Dominion boots. Shame it's Summer over here, I guess I'll just have to find an "Ugly" Xmas T-shirt.

This look is so perfect Bella! I love the boots! I've been looking for boots like those ones as well. I think they are perfect for this snow weather we have here.

Have a nice weekend!

I usually hate holiday sweaters but that really looks cute on you. Love the way you styled it.

I'm sorry. it's simply nowhere near ugly enough....show me better-or should that be worse? LOL!

Nothing about this out fit is ugly; you can make any outfit shine. Love the boots!

Oh my gosh, Bella....I really love the boots. I'm breaking out in a sweat just thinking about how I could wear them.

Red is your color, I think.....it looks so great on you.

You're right: that sweater is very 'festive elf' and all the more fabulous for it. Great boots too - an excellent match of form with function - look good but practical too.

My friends and I have always thought about having an Ugly Christmas Sweater party, but it has yet to happen. The one you're wearing is actually pretty cool - nice colours and no Santas, reindeer or Christmas trees! Those are some fabulous boots.

Oh, so fabulous! You manage to mix adorable and cool in a perfect blend - and jean cutoffs with tights hold a very, very special early '90's place in my heart! Nicely done. :)

I so enjoy your styling gift my dear... the result was the 'un' uglying of the sweater into a fabulously hip outfit! Kudos my dear Bella!

Gaw-geous lady in gaw-geous bootz.

I actually love your sweater. Tacky holiday sweaters are the rage among the teens, so I have taken mine to several GoodWills and now feel like I might have looked at every rejected tacky holiday sweater in our entire state. But the hunt is still on, because The Teen is tiny, and that perfect sweater has still not been found :P
