Here Kitty Kitty!

Stripes or Kitties! This Reversible Cotton Windbreaker Lets You Have it All
Last Friday, I had one of the most time managed and productive days in all of Bella history. I got up early, slurped my coffee, ate some breakfast (a habit I'm trying to form) and got to work. Now work entailed dolling up, setting up a sheet and some lights, the camera and tripod, and then prancing about in front, playing supermodel in my vast horde of vintage goodies. Over 400 pictures were taken in all, including two outdoor outfits posts, and a big pile of clothing to sell in the shop.
The Stripes stripe. The Kitties Frolic. All in a Day's Work.
At 3pm I promptly stopped the picture taking, did housework and made dinner for my honey, AND managed to squeeze in a quick walk around my neighborhood. By 6:30 pm, I began to upload said photos from a full day of photography onto my computer. And....

Life is funny. As in "oh shit," and not "ha ha."

A computer glitch froze the iPhoto program, and the photos were neither uploaded onto the lappy, NOR saved in the camera. Twist o' fate, and my well managed day sort of unraveled at that point. Strangely, about 12 pictures were not deleted in the camera (and let me tell you- the photos were absurdly flattering!) including this set of pics that you see above.

Me in the cutest reversible windbreaker on the planet. It has vertical stripes on one side, and (gasp! grab a ball of yarn, would ya!) ADORABLE kitties on the other. Cotton, charming and flawless, like YOUR time management skills.

Anyhoo, it's up for sale in the shop, and I'm back to the drawing board, re-taking those pictures. Somehow the second time around is not quite so fun. But at least I have some semblance of proof of that day when I got stuff done, and looked quite good doing it!

Tell me about it, I've been working on my website for months and it's driving me more mental than ever, hours of crashing computers, frozen screens and cats wandering across the keyboard!
That jacket is insane - insanely fabulous! xxx

I always loved the lyric "My technoology is giving me suspicions" in Crowed House's song Don't Dream it's over. Yup--that's MY LIFE--LOLOLO

The jacket is ADORABLE!!

Oh, so cute! But so sorry you lost most of your pics. It's something I'd do on a regular basis, being more thm just a little techno- challenged. :)

It was all going so well! Just goes to show you, when you think you're getting ahead something comes along and "bam!" you're behind again.

That is a super cute jacket on you. I would never buy it as my dog would hate me forever.

bisous

Man oh man, those are the days. One thing I've learned is to never delete the pix from my camera until I've completely finished with them on the computer. That's happened too many times. I'd rather go through and hand delete them one by one on the camera later than "accidentally" lose them all during a computer melt down.

Meanwhile, what could be better than stripes and cats! An instant seller, I'm sure. You've got good karma in the bank now at any rate.

Good lordy me, that jacket is amazing!!!
Technology, darling, makes me want to punch walls! So good, but SO traumatising! XXX

I've always wondered where files go when you've done a Cut from the camera card and you haven't yet pasted them anywhere on the computer. I guess they're trying to escape, like the odd sock that hides against the wall of the dryer. I feel so bad for you that you lost all that work, but at least you got to look at the kitten jacket! And of course, there are always cat videos online to cheer you up!

I know this will happen to me someday, sorry Bella that sucks! I'm dying over the absurdity of this jacket and by that I mean I love it! Don't let what happened ruin how much you really got done and enjoyed your day.

There would have been a stream of swear words pouring from my mouth had that have happened to me, and possibly some screaming, and threats made to my computer. Good for you for soldiering on.

Ahh, technology! We think that is going to work perfectly and then it mess it up!
Cats and stripes, what a smart way to combine chicness and cuteness all in one reversible windbreaker.

You poor thing. If things like this happen to me, I get in a right fit. Not that it helps, there is just a lot of rage in me. And computers bring out the worst. I feel for you.
I always upload after 40 takes as I want to see whether I have to adjust something. But that is slowing down the process.
Your dress looks very nice and the jacket is lovely.

And I always thought stopping in the middle of my fun promised day to get ready to go to work my afternoon job was shitty,. Well I am sure you will have more productive days ahead. Just laugh and keep at it! Much success awaits you.
