Bella Lemonade

Happy Friday, lovelies!

The above pictures have a theme in common, and not just that they were all taken on my iPhone. They showcase "ME" in my element. Literally, in my own front/backyard. I have taken my own adage to heart, and have chosen to "Bloom where I'm planted." I'm no longer waiting for the ideal location, the perfect photography studio (or even a mere decent one, lol) or the "right" circumstances, to live out the life of my dreams, but I am moving forward, proverbial balls to the wall, and just getting things done.

That's me, modeling a hat, a ring, a pair of shoes, all outside my own front door stoop, setting up shop and posting pictures taken under these less than ideal circumstances for my online shops. I'm determined to flourish being a creative and constructive spirit for my community! I would have rather have had some studio set up where pictures can be tastefully done, but I don't have the space in my tiny little house for that. And for the moment, I'm ok with that. I've things to do, and am making the best of my situation.

Which reminds me, I've got a guest post over at I Love My Lemonade Life. There, I share a simple life recipe for Making Lemonade. Do take a moment, and have a read. Let me know what you think in the comments.

And happy WEEKEND!

Good for you! I never have the right photography set up, so there's never any photos put up.
I like your attitude. Great hat. Women who wear hats are brave and confident...just my perception.
Have a great weekend.

Great shots! Seriously, small biz motto is like, just get it done "by any means necessary"! Small studio space--- omg that's a dream of mine, too!
Hey, you're doing it and that's all that matters,
Becky :)

I agree with you. The best we can do is catching the opportunity given by circumstances. (Not easy!) As per me, I admit your freedom.
You are lovely in hat, look like queen on vacation.

All great points, especially to take action rather than wait...many times I don't document outfits because the setting or my appearance isn't "perfect." I'm heading over to read your lemonade post. (:

Unusual and real backgrounds are great, and it's always good to see more you! Who needs a studio?

I know the feeling of little space, no studio and less than ideal circumstances. Oh well that is just life for you. I do what you do: make the best of it.
That hat is so cute on you.

By the way... it hit me yesterday that I am an idiot. I thought of the red roses hair band as being something "exactly for you" when it suddenly dawned on me that your blog picture is featuring such a thing. Duhhhh, I had to laugh though.

You go, girl. Don't get stuck and keep moving forward.

Loved your guest post; very straightforward and right on. Regarding item #5, my co-workers and I refer to talking about a problem as "admiring the problem". You're so right in that nothing gets done that way.

Great post!

You are blooming well! And your message is one for all of us to take to heart. Not many of us have expensive clothes and nice backdrops, but like you say, we can all be creative and get the best use out of our present circumstances. Bella, you DEFINITELY know how to make lemonade. Debbie @ ilovemylemonadelife.com

Yep, there is a LOT to be said for making the best of where we are, and not waiting for things to be better/ideal/perfect (cos those might never happen, right?) Good for you. And that's a fab hat! xxxx

Love the pictures. And you're right about blooming where you're planted. I've been waiting for the perfect time to start my blog and it turns out there's never a perfect time. Just go for it. And you did. Have a great weekend!

I love that hat! You can definitely take fun photos with your mobile. To be honest, I have been using my iPhone and my point & shoot recently, especially for DIY posts, instead of lugging my DSLR around. Plus I don't like to carry unnecessary weight going about town! :)Enjoy the weekend Bella!

Making the best of the situation - yes, thanks for that reminder. Your lemonade post was inspiring.

Bella, I totally agree, life is way too short to worry about the "perfect" place, the "perfect moment", the "perfect" situation, or for this matter the "perfect" outift. When we just get it done and as you say, "bloom where you're planted" life is much more fun and fulfilling. LOVED your lemonade recipe. I', going to hang that in my kitchen for sure!

Being at your place, with your accessories and clothing, taking your photos and dealing with life on your turns is an amazing and empowering gift that many women and young girls around the world don't get to experience.

Those striped shoes are so cute. I hope that Summer gets to where you are soon.

Oh, I been there. In fact I started blogging just because the place I was in was not the best. You are right, only you have the power to see things differently and create your own lemonade.
