Shiny Get Lucky

Get Lucky. I felt so lucky when I found this perfect pair of UNITED NUDE booties on the shoe racks at Value Village last summer. Costing a little less than a twenty-spot for a $200 pair of shoes. They are not only super stylish, their mid heel and supportive elastisized body are the most comfortable shoes I've ever walked in. Correction: STRUTTED IN.

Shiny, Lucky. (Source)
And, possibly danced in. These "shooties" (are they shoes, are they booties?) are kicks I'm wearing any chance I get, like when I listen to the addicting Get Lucky tune, fresh on the turntable, by Daft Punk. Imagine me dancing herky jerky in my pajamas and these shoes. 'Cuz that's what I just did.

For a nice interview of Daft Punk click HERE.
or download the new album Random Access Memories and get your dance on.

And mark your calenders: Shoe Shine is Wednesday, June 12th. So snap a pic of you in your favorite shoes and post them in the Shoe Shine link up party this coming June 12th. Please share with the world YOUR SHINE!

I must be living in a cave, because up until Bourbon & Pearls posted this yesterday, I'd never heard this song. Now I just want to listen to it 24/7!

Look for me at the next Shoe Shine...I'll have my Happy Feet on!

Love going to Value Village. I always find something nice there. The one close to Ballard is the best.

You thrifted UN boots! That is ridiculously awesome! I'm loving VV more and more these days- they consistently have the best maternity clothes of any thrift stores in Seattle as far as I can tell... now I need to watch that music video- have a great long weekend!

What a great find those shoes were, especially considering how much they were compared to the original price. There's always that lovely sense of satisfaction finding something like that.

Great shoes, great price! They looks so cute on you! But you're so cute anyway that you don't need a lot of help. ;)
