#SHOESHINE: Golden Girls

I'm not talking about THESE Golden Girls:

I'm talking about this one:

And that one:

Because when it comes to woman who shine, metaphorically and literally, it is the likes of these golden beauties. Freshly funky, soulfully spirited and perfectly authentic, Tamera and Desiree are pure style gold.

No stranger to sparkling sequins and shiny metallics, if these women were shoes, I think they would look like this:

Both have a style that makes your spirit soar!

GOLDEN GIRLS: look for these vintage 1960s showstoppers, size 6.5 in the shop.
So now's your turn to shine!

I can't believe that it's taken me so long to find you, being a shoe fiend and all! Thank you for this wonderful venue to share our mutual adoration. I can "wear" vicariously while my broken foot - the ultimate indignity - heals!

These shoes *do* evoke the fabulous bloggers Tamera and Desiree. I shall look for something cool in my closet today. xox

How nice of you to showcase Desiree and Tamera, girls of gold, with your shoeshine. I must say I do love your sandals with wings. But size 6.5, puleeze.

A bit late dearest Bella, but nevertheless I am joining. Alas not with golden shoes. I am desperately looking for silver ones but can only find very expensive ones.
I will link up to your Shoe Shin in my next fresh post of tomorrow.

Not shiny, plaidy. I think you'll approve!
Whew! Made the deadline! Took lots of shoe pix this week and this was the winner, in terms of getting a post written.
