Baby, I was born to POLKA

This Babe was born to Polka (dot)
Friends, before you start reading this, I want you to push play button on theYouTube video. I believe if I were a song, I might be this one. Jolly, no? : )

Well yesterday's Everybody, Everywear was a SMASHING success. I hope
you got to check out all the mad Polka Dot style over at the website: http://everybodyeverywear.com.

A number of my blogger faves joined in, including the lovable Sacramento of Mis Papelicos! My HOMETOWN of Sacramento was represented by the likes of Keri of Headlines and Hemlines & the Teacher of Classroom Chic. Blogger pals from Apples and Oranges, the Style Underdog and The Fashionista Next Door also do their polka-dotty thang. Kristen Marie, Joy, Sara all make a joyful appearance. Really, you must just go  see for yourself!

It seems like just as good a day as any to dust off my collection of dotted favorites gleaned from my inspiration folder- who can resist more Polka goodness?
As for moi, you can see a smattering of MY past flirtations with les dots de las polkas here, here, herehere , herehere AND here.

Misfit Sarah dons the Dots at Misfits Vintage
What the L? Lorissa looking good in Sactown in her Polka Dots.
Helga Von Trollup is rockin' her Polka
On a completely DIFFERENT note, you may notice I've got a new page up- My +40 Blog roll. If you want some style inspiration be sure to check these lovely ladies out. Feel free to bookmark the page- I plan to update it monthly.
And if YOU are a +40 blogger, just leave a comment on the page and I will add you to the list.

And if you haven't yet entered my Get LUCKY Shabby Apple Dress give-away, be sure to do so soon. Winner gets announced on St. Patrick's Day (March 17th,) so be sure to try your luck and enter. GOOD LUCK! (Remember: Contest open ONLY to U.S. residents) Click HERE to enter.

I'm going to take a little break from my blogging this week and put focus on getting ready for the SHOP THE CITIZEN trunk show this Saturday. We're hosting it at the studio, so if any of you are going to be in Sacramento this week-end and would like to come, please e-mail me for the details.
(My email? Bella@thecitizenrosebud.com)
Until then: See you next week!

I am so insanely jealous of anyone who owns a classic black and white polka dot dress/blouse/skirt. I don't have any of these (insert sad face with lip poking out here).

Thanks for the shout out ;)

Love all the polka looks! I don't own any polka dots. Do you believe that? Weird. Must rectify.

I did watch the video and I can absolutely imagine you being at one with the music. I might have been living under a rock but honestly did not know about Everybody everywear. How does one participate?
