Polka Dot Polka Dot Leopard Spot Leopard Spot

Somewhere I dreamt that polka dots were the leopard spots of the urban jungle. Actually, I got the idea from my dear friend, textile artist Lindsay Rickman
#SHOPSECONDHANDFIRST: 60% Thrifted. 100% Awesome.
Today, I am combining the two, part polka dot, part leopard spot, all ready to pounce into Autumn. It's been hot in the Emerald City this past week; we're talking California summer hot. So the leopard leggings didn't last past noon. The leopard faux fur shrug was merely dressing for the photo op, we're not yet ready for "real" coats.

I believe the mesmerizing Sacramento of Mis Papelicos is hosting a blog hop today, featuring polka dots and animal prints. This polka/spot post is dedicated to her.

Also linking up to the mindblowingly stylish Ariane who's having a style blog hop as well.

Now Wearing:
  • Vintage brown/cream polka dot scarf, thrifted
  • Pre-loved Leopard Fun Fur Shrug, thrifted
  • Megan in brown w/ cream polka dots (now on sale for $60!) c/o Karina Dresses
  • Fancy leopard leggings,(similar here)
  • Leopard kicks, DSW

What a fun combination!!! Too bad the leggings didn't last the day. It's still hot here, too. It's like summer will never end. But I hope you get a chance to wear that bolero and the leggings soon (well, not too soon).

I'm with Vix. You + the scarf = cool. You know I'm all over polka dots...now I'll have to try mixing them with animal spots.

This is a combination I might copy. Please inspire me with an animal print jacket and a daring colour underneath it as well haha. Just bought this jacket and have not found a good match for it, besides the obvious.
